Midweek news: Bama may be investigated for improper benefits due to a relationship current and former players have with the owner of a mens clothing store near campus...... ExPats don't seem to talk about issues when they involve there own schools..great job Observer nothing like fair coverage of the SEC

By posting anonymously, your comment immediately loses credibility. That credibility is further eroded by (lack of) grammar. And what little credibility that remains gets completely wiped out by commenting without checking the blog archives to see dozens of posts about problems or potential problems at Tennessee, LSU, Auburn and Georgia during the past 12 months. And the 'Bama grad that does most of the posting doesn't have any problem acknowledging the past sins of his school. So you really haven't been paying any attention.

You must be an ACC fan...

You act like I kicked your dog. Thank you to the other poster who stepped up and saw what was going on. J seek hlep (that was done for you buddy)

J being from Ohio your credibility to talk SEC football is nearly zero

Also to have an SEC blog in Charlotte and not have a SC and a UT rep the two schools the closest and with the most local fans = FAIL

A couple of points from the Crimson Corner:

1. J is an Auburn grad. Since many of you post anonymously, please add thecredentials that qualify each of you to comment on SEC football. The EXPATS have very high standards.

2. Each of the EXPATS has a real job at The O, so we do this on the side. The clothing store stuff just so happened to coincide with a slamming time here in the newsroom. Take that or leave it. Just happens to be true.

3. J's right . . . how often do an Auburn and Alabama guy agree? Look back over the years here and you'll find plenty of criticism of Alabama's ethical lapses by yours truly. You can take that or leave it, too. But it is also the truth.

4. We said repeatedly over the last couple of weeks that the blog gears up for its third season Aug. 1. Until then, we're a little hit and miss on our coverage. And we'll remain that way, but at least we'll have more folks contributing.
