Holy you-know-what: Lane Kiffin goes to USC...

That would be the one in Los Angeles, not the one in Columbia. ESPN just reported it.

SEC Expats would like to announce that we are just flabbergasted. And we would like to ask the people of Knoxville to stay away from sharp objects and flammable liquids tonight. We wouldn't wish this on anybody.

He was just afraid. Gave his best and went 7-5. What a #*($!

Loser.

It was fairly obvious he had no idea how to coach in a competitive conference.

And his Spurrier-esque nonsense really irritated the [fecal matter] out of me, too.

Never let it be said that the Expats have it in for Southern Cal.

Dr. Horrible....I think more than fecal matter will be irritated out of you when kiffin takes his dad,ed orgeron, and other tenn assistants with him.I am hearing lane is already trying to "wrassle" recruits to los angeles also. It's not fair, but lane isn't the first to do it,nor will he be the last.At least pete carroll didn't clean out the usc cupboards for another college team.

Any recruit who would like to leave all the Tennessee outlaw crap and this rapidly sinking ship can look South to Columbia. Steve Spurrier needs a few more players to pay before about 80,000 crazy Gamecock fans at Williams Brice and take it to another level after narrow 2009 losses against National Champion Alabama and Florida. Notice how many Gamecocks are making it to the NFL these days and know that you'll get plenty of attention in Columbia from the big name NFL scouts.

You guys think YOU'RE ticked...Imagine the 8 recruits that enrolled for Spring semester this morning and now can't back out of their commitments.

Willis isn't one of them, BTW. Expect him in Chapel Hill tomorrow.

Hey UT fans, it is not ethical to criticize an ex-coach or his new team until there is someone from said team serving as a moderator on this blog. Fair is only fair.

Good ridance. He is not a good coach and I couldn't be happier to see him depart to the land of fruits and nuts.

Not if Coach Davis heads to UT. Is Butch angling for anther ill-gotten raise?

You've got to love the UT student riots that were captured on youtube. WOW!

I don't know why anyone would want to become a football head coach at a school that is facing severe NCAA sanctions. USC may be in a good area for recruiting, but I bet few players would go there knowing that the program would be weakened by the penalties the NCAA imposes.

I expect Lane to start talking trash about Oregon any day now.

Hope he didn't get hit in the @$$ by the door on his way out.
