The Kiffin Chronicles: Let the Beatings Resume.

Big surprise, Boy Mouth has been put on Double Secret Probation. Based on Kiffin's comments following UT's numbingly close loss to Alabama -- excerpts are up on SEC Expats -- Dean Wormer, uh. make that SEC Commissioner Mike Slive again has lowered the whip.

Here's the link. http://www.secsports.com/news/coach-kiffin-reprimanded.aspx#

Let's review:
*Kiffin accused Urban Meyer of a recruiting violation. Turns out he didn't know the rule.
*Kiffin accused the ref's of blowing a helmet call at the end of the Alabama game that could have given the Vols another kick (and Terrence Cody a chance at the Hat Trick). Turns out he doesn't know that rule either .

What's next for the Tennessee coach? An electronic bracelet? Around his tongue?

The SEC should probably listen to him. Officials are going to ruin your conference.

Yep the only issue is he is right, look at the Miss State call this week as well. every week it something in the SEC and every week the Tide or Gators are who it benefits....

Also what Mullins said was much more critical of the officals then Kiffin where is his tongue lashing by Slime?
BTW Kiffin has right about 90 % of what he said.

Yep Kiffin got repremanded
so did Mullins, Petrino, and Johnson is expecting it too. Richt had issues with the officials a few weeks ago, you know the crew that got suspended. But nothing is going on.......

Why does the official show the Tide player where to recover the ball. He points out a live ball to the Alabama player. Plus Cody has his helmet off before the ball is recovered. Its all in the video

Another incedent and they might suspend him. My goodness, perhaps the SEC commish, also owns the company I work for, you can't speak your mind there either. Go for it Kiffin, don't let them stifle you. Stand up for us.

Where does it say Kiffin was wrong about the blown call at the end of the UT/Bama game?

Slive is such an idiot I take any criticism from him as a compliment.

So numerous SEC coaches are diciplined for speaking publicly about incorrect officiating and Slives' response is to publicly reprimand them? How about some confidentiality on the part of the SEC and Slive in their comments?

Where does it say he was wrong about the call? It says it here on an earlier posting from CNN/SI link, and on a dozen other reputable sites.

Cody should have kept his helmet on. But IF a flag had been thrown, it would have been a dead ball foul. Had there been time on the clock, Bama would have started 15 yards farther back. That's all.
